I was very, very lucky to have been sent this little lovely by Bloomsbury Australia and I think Ripley is pretty happy about it too. This is just a short post to share my adorable little puppy with you. Ain’t she cute?
“Women were supposed to want children more than anything else, Mary knew. Perhaps when she had her own she would feel the same way, though she could not imagine it. As far as she could see, children were like savages and it was her purpose to try to tame them until they could fit into the civilized world like everybody else.” This is the story of Alice Liddell, the young girl who inspired Alice in Wonderland, and it’s written by Alice Liddell’s actual great-granddaughter. Pretty cool huh? I’m currently reading this one at the moment. Find it here: Goodreads. The Book Depository. Amazon. Kobo.
So I haven’t actually read this one yet, but I must say I was pretty damn proud of this photo and felt I had to share it. Patrick Ness is one of my absolute favourite writers and I really can’t believe that I haven’t read this one. I will definitely need to get to it soon.
I took these photos about a week ago for my tumblr and I’m just kinda proud of them so I thought I’d share.
