“You could rattle the stars,” she whispered. “You could do anything, if only you dared. And deep down, you know it, too. That’s what scares you most.”
Okay, this one should be no surprise, as it’s quite obviously my current obsession. I read Throne of Glass ages ago but never picked up the second one because all the spoilers on Tumblr had serious given me the cranks and I was throwing a bit of a tantrum. But I was a total fool. I finally read the next two books in a mad rush when I was sent Queen of Shadows for review by Bloomsbury. And trust me, you need this series in your life.
Throne of Glass is the story of Celaena Sardothian, who is the most famous assassin in Adarlan. Well, she was until she was caught and ended up serving a life sentence as a slave in the salt mines of Endovier. But then a spunky young prince, and his spunky captain of the guard come and give her an opportunity to win her freedom….
So, the series is the business. The first book is honestly my least favourite, but it is absolutely 100% worth reading because then you get to the numminess of the second book, Crown of Midnight, and then you can devour the deliciousness of the third book, Heir of fire. The fourth book, Queen of Shadows (which I am currently gobbling up) is released on September 1st and will be reviewed here soon.
Also, did I mention there’s a puppy? A puppy that Sarah J. Maas has PROMISED will survive the series. Proof:
So if that doesn’t convince you to read this absolutely amazing series, then I don’t know what will. Just do it, okay? Promise? Okay.

OMG I AM RIDICULOUSLY HAPPY TO KNOW FLEETFOOT LIVES. :’) authors are notoriously evil at killing off the cute pets. SO THIS JUST MAKES SJM EVEN MORE FABULOUS, IF THAT’S POSSIBLE. XD ehhe. Anyway, I highly approve of this current addiction. 😀

Don’t hate me! *runs*
I stopped reading the first book after 3 chapters, but my bookish friends only have great things to say about this book series.
Tumbr could be a bummer sometimes. All the spoilers are all over!

I just finished this, and the first thing that I thought was “Oh, please don’t let Fleetfoot die,” because authors are cruel and almost always kill the pet. I’m still crying over Hedwig.
